International Judicial Training Program heads to Dubai

The Dean Rusk Center's International Judicial Training Program was in Dubai from Nov. 9 to Nov. 12 to provide onsite training in conjunction with the Dubai Judicial Institute for members of the judiciary from Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Taking its training on the road for the first time, the IJTP seeks to facilitate reform by offering capacity-building judicial administration programs.

State Bar of Georgia Midyear Meeting Alumni Events

  Come be a part of Georgia Law's annual alumni reception and breakfast held in conjunction with the State Bar of Georgia's Midyear Meeting in Atlanta. Hosted by Greg C. Sowell (J.D.'83), the reception will be Thursday night, Jan. 7, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at Hall Booth Smith & Slover. The breakfast will be held the next morning from 8 am to 9 am at the Spice Market restaurant, which is on the ground floor of the W Atlanta-Midtown hotel.
